Alerus and Canad Inn, Grand Forks We will hold our meeting with the NDMA at the
Alerus. The top of Playmakers Lounge is reserved for a social starting at 5pm
with dinner at 5:30.
I spoke with Lynette (NDMA) Phone: 701-223-9475 We are on the agenda. Lynette will make sure the facility accommodates for “Scrap booking” as part of our meeting.
Time 9 or 10am to 4pm or 5 pm??

2. ND Medical School and Pediatrics, “Who, When and Where” Dr Wilson and Dr Tinguely This would include a listing of all the UND Med students that choose Pediatrics, Where they went for residency and where they finished their career or are currently practicing. I spoke with Sec Tami (777-2514) and Dr Wilson, Dr Wilson cleared his schedule. I visited with Steve. He also has it on his schedule now.

4. District VI Leadership “What has the Academy done for you lately?” I spoke with Dr. Michael Severson, He will attend.
We will also have a special “Scrap booking with Karilyn” 8am to start of
meeting and 4 pm to 6pm or so. Karilyn will also create a special fall NDAAP
meeting flyer demonstrating her skills. This will be sent out as the meeting
announcement in May or June.

Teaching the Teachers Conference was held Friday, April 20, 2007
“Teaching the Teachers” Conference was held on Friday,
April 20, 2007 at the Fargo Holiday Inn.
Dr. Bruce Morgenstern, Phoenix Children’s Hospital and former president of the
Council on Medical Student Education in Pediatrics and Dr. Stephanie Starr, Mayo
Clinic lead this year’s conference. We learned how to “set the stage on
day one”, design effective curriculum, assess clinical skills and much more.
